
Meet the Principal
Camille Murphy, Principal
Camille Murphy is honored to serve the Lincoln community. Murphy graduated from St. Cloud State University where she received a bachelor of science in elementary education with an emphasis in science. She then attended Concordia University, St. Paul where she earned master's degrees in Differentiated Instruction and K-12 Educational Leadership.
This is Murphy's 17th year serving the St. Cloud Area School District in a variety of roles, including elementary classroom teacher, academic coach, administrative intern and assistant principal. She lives in the St. Cloud area with her family. Both Murphy and her husband (a 742 teacher) attended District 742 schools in grades K-12. Their three children also attended and graduated from District 742 schools. She describes her family as 742 Proud!
Murphy is passionate about helping students realize and develop their individual strengths, believing all students can and will succeed. She is also dedicated to supporting the growth and development of teachers and staff. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders is her priority and she looks forward to working alongside members of the Lincoln community to create successful outcomes for all students.
Raunn Finley, Assistant Principal
Raunn Finley is grateful for the opportunity to serve the students, families and staff of South Junior High. He brings 15 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, teacher leader, instructional coach, coordinator of student services and building principal. He has demonstrated a commitment to lifelong learning. He has earned a bachelor's degree in special education, master's degree in organizational leadership, policy and development, and completed the doctoral course work for k-12 educational leadership. Finley is currently completing his dissertation and is participating in the Principals' Academy- Twin Cities Cohort.
During his time as an educator and a higher education student, Finley has been dedicated to strengthening teaching and learning practices and fostering developmental relationships for students. In both endeavors, he has learned that collaboration between students, families and staff are essential. He is excited to continue the work of improving educational outcomes and improving the overall schooling experience for students, families and staff.
